During the Service
We use both the blue Hymnal and the red Book of Common Prayer. The bulletin will have the page numbers for you to follow.
Worship
We are a traditional Episcopal Church.
When you enter, you will be greeted and given a bulletin for the day. The greeter will answer any questions you may have. You may sit anywhere in the church; there is no assigned seating.
Stand or Kneel
In general, we stand (as you are able) when we sing, praise and read the Gospel. We sit during the other readings and the sermon; we kneel (as you are able) to pray. If you are uncertain what to do next, either ask or follow the person next to you.
Communion
All baptized Christians, regardless of denomination, my take communion in the Episcopal Church.
Dress Code
There is no dress code Many people dress up while others wear very casual clothes. The kind of clothing you wear is immaterial.
